Old Bristolians Westbury Cricket Club

Welcome to the Old Bristolians Westbury website. We run 4 mens Saturday teams and two Sunday sides, catering for all levels of cricket. We also have a women's cricket section and a thriving youth section with teams from U11 to U17.

The 1st XI play 50 over cricket in the Bristol and N. Somerset division of the West of England Premier Cricket League, providing an excellent standard of club cricket. The 2nd XI play in the corresponding second XI competition.

The 3rd XI were again promoted in 2007 and will play in the 1st Division of the North Somerset League in 2008. The 4th XI narrowly missed out on promotion last year so will have another season in North Somerset Division 4.

After a gap of several years, 2008 sees the re-establishment of Sunday 2nd XI cricket at OBWCC with a side entered in the newly formed North Somerset Sunday Division 5.

Our ground is situated near Failand, only a 5 minute drive from Clifton and easily accessible from West Bristol and North Somerset. It has a picturesque rural setting, two cricket pitches and a large pavillion.

Players of all standards are welcome. Winter indoor nets are already underway, Sunday evenings 7:30 to 9:00, at Bristol Grammar School sport hall on Elmdale Road, all welcome. Summer training will take place at the ground on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 6:30.

Youngsters of all ages welcome. Coaching is given on Sunday mornings in the summer at 10:00.
